How to setup VMware ESX 3.0 to automatically start Virtual Machines when the ESX host server reboots:
Highlight the host server.
Go to Configuration.
Go to Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown.
Click in Properties.
Check Allow virtual machines to start and stop automatically with the system.
